This machine flushes clean water through your heating system at pressure, removing loose and suspended material as it goes. Indicators that your system may need flushing are:
- The boiler or pump is noisy
- Blocked heat exchanger on a Combi boiler, hot water demand – boiler fires up than goes off
- Reduced hot water temperature
- Boiler overheats or shuts off when hot water is needed
- The radiators have cold spots or are not working
- It takes a long time for the system to warm up
- Radiators need regular bleeding of accumulated air as the corrosion process produces hydrogen gas.
- Evidence of sludge and rust in the system
- Pump failures
