Central Heating Leak Prevention
Many homeowners get their boiler serviced every year, but why get your boiler serviced and ignore the rest of your heating system? You would not expect a garage to only check the engine when your car goes in for service.
Your radiators, pipes and water tanks could all be at risk if they are not maintained. There are lots of heating systems out there which do not have sufficient, if any, rust inhibitor in the circulation water. Too little protector in your central heating system will lead to corrosion in your boiler and radiators. Over time this will result in sludge build up, bigger fuel bills, leaks, failure of the system and even a replacement boiler.
Some plumbers will test the water for inhibitor and top it up, but it can get over looked. Your radiators are made from pressed steel or cast iron which all corrode. The corrosion can sluge up radiators and pipe, stop efficient transfer of heat and even block up and damage your boiler.
A blocked heat exchanger can cost hundreds of pounds to be replaced, why take the chance.

- Testing the current level of protector in your system
- Checking for the level of corrosion in the central heating water
- Carrying out a thermal image survey to check the effectiveness of your radiators and possible sludge build up
Once the survey is completed we will show you the results and discuss what your options are and if any work is required to bring your system back to best working order.

- Top up your inhibitor levels
- Add a magnetic cleaner to your system
- Clean and power flush your system
